Green, ethical, eco conscious, carbon neutral jewellery. Fairy and shrooms brooch created from a repurposed dessert spoon, in Cambridge, UK. Hairy Growler Jewellery.

This lovely brooch is recycled from the bowl of an old, neglected antique serving spoon. Each one we create depicts a scene of a beautiful fairy sitting amongst the magical mushrooms and dreaming amongst the stars.

 

The old discarded antique sreving spoon is firstly decorated with an outline of the fairy and shrooms. This outline is meticulously traced and embellished with a jewellers piercing hand saw. The piece is then carefully filed and polished to bring it back to life as a delightful wearable brooch.

 

The remaining spoon is also worked upon to turn it into a gorgeous object and talking point for the wearer. It also works nicely as a little nest/home for the brooch when it is not being worn!

Original, unique, magical and completely recycled.
