Make a wish...

A new fairy for the hairy growler website, April 2007. This classic design is one which I first created many years ago, but just didn't get a chance to physically create it. One of those sketch book ideas that aren't inline with what you are into at the time. (At the time I was mastering the techniques involved in producing the chunky kuffs in the Industrial Espionage Collection.) So although I have always had a cheeky pixie collection which I designed for, some designs come at the wrong time!

Anyhoo!, here we have a lovely little fairy offering a star for those that deserve one. She has been handcut from an old, unwanted dessert spoon salvaged from a local charity shop. After delicately cutting the design out from the 'bowl' of the spoon, I carefully file and polish the piece. I then secure a brroch fitting on the back. Handcrafted and completely recycled
