The Birth Spoon....
Each 'birth-spoon' is the result of a great deal of time and patience.
The design detail is planned and carefully drawn on to the spoon. This
is pierced out (cut through spoon) with a small jeweller's hand-saw.
This spoon for example required over forty individual miniature drill
holes. The piercing saw is then 'fed' into each hole and the cutting
process begins for each small section. After this, the spoon is filed
and eventually polished.
Prices vary depending on detail required, but all represent fantastic
value for money. This example would have a total cost of only
£140 including postage & Packing.
