Hey little bird...

Inspired by a daintly little robin red breast sitting on a branch in a tree opposite my workshop window. I decided that the sketch would really come to life if i carefully hand cut the design out of an old English penny coin.

Usually, my coin pendants are launched on www.luckysixpencejewellery.co.uk website. This site is dedicated to handcut coins.

The design is freehand drawn onto the penny. Several holes are drilled and the sections are delicately cut away. The edges are filed, smoothed and finally polished. The end result is a lovely, original, recycled pendant with a fantastic history.
