these fantastic brooches are totally handcrafted and recycled from the bowls of dessert spoons...

Funky flower brooches...

go back to last seen...

These pretty little brooches are completely handcrafted and recycled from old, unwanted, discarded desert spoons found in local charity shops and house clearance outlets.

Each brooch is pierced from the central section of the 'bowl' of the spoon. Firstly, we design, draw, and hand-cut the flower out of the spoon. Then each flower is soldered with a security brooch fitting and polished. Each brooch has its own unique features, but most importantly they are all recycled and look beautiful.

The remaining spoon handle is also given the Hairy Growler treatment. A little midnight sky detail, time and patients transforms the remnant. This is also included as a momento of the flower brooch's humble origins! A fab talking point, a little home for the brooch when not being worn and wonderful green, ethical and original gift.
