The Spiral Tribe...

This small spiral hand brooch is recycled from an old English mustard spoon. Each one of these brooches is recycled and totally handcrafted using only hand tools. The simple but striking design is drawn onto the spoon, then delicately traced with the piercing saw. It is then filed, soldered with safety brooch fitting and finally polished, completely recreating what was for many years a useless and unwanted spoon.
