English summertimes.. gorgeous, whimsical and completely recycled from old British silver coins. Silver clouds, rainbows, sun and stars. Designed and created by Hairy Growler Jewellery, Cambridge, UK.

I love rainbows, they rule.... This here little rainbow, along with the clouds are created from old English sterling silver coins. The coins are heated and stretched with hammers into an appropriate length and thickness to work with.

The gorgeous English summertime design theme is then freehand drawn onto the surface of the coin. Each element is carefully cut out with a traditional jewellers miniature hand saw. The individual elements are then fused with silver wire to give the lovely 'drop' of the pendant cluster. The sun and stars are recycled from old bronze and brass coins.

The whole piece is a labour of love, that i create happily and willingly when ordered. The pendant is created and dispatched within a week of ordering.
