A Sleepy and Wee cute silver owl necklace created using traditional hand tools. The owl design is delicately crafted from an old English 1oz crown coin, pure silver. Every pendant is totally unique and recycled.

This gorgeous little pendant is crafted from one sterling silver crown coin, English and dated 1887. The coin was flattened out in my usual manner. Once stretched out to the desired working shape i simply drew the design on with a fine nibbed marker pen (a design i have been promising myself to do for ages!! Its been sitting in my sketch book for ages and ages)

This rough sketch is then embellished and used as a approx guide line for my piercing saw work (the best bit! yipee) From here the pendant was filed, sanded, polished matte, and finished with a wee bronze star and amethyst stone.
