Wee, Sleepy and Cheeky...
These cute little owl brooches are the perfect compliment to your (or someone you know and love) Autumn / Winter outfit. Each brooch is carefully hand cut using a simple, traditional jewllers saw.
The owls are cut from the 'bowl' section of old antique soup spoons. These spoons are typically unwanted and found in local charity shops, house clearance specialist outlets, etc. Thus they are a perfect material to recycled and reuse.
After a hour or two of enthusiatic and careful crafting the old spoons are transformed into lovely, wearable brooches. Please feel free to specify the owl of your choice!
The remaining spoon handle is also given the Hairy Growler treatment. A little detail, time and patients transforms the remnant. This is also included as a momento of the brooch's humble origins! A fab talking point, a little home for the brooch when not being worn and wonderful green, ethical and original gift.
