Summer blossoming....
The uplifting scent and feel of spring turning to summer... All from a cute little tree brooch created and recycled from the middle of an old unwanted antique spoon found in a charity shop in Cambridge.
Each one i make is completely unique and recycled. Every one the result of time, patience and a love of what we create. The individual tree design is free hand drawn onto the outside of the soup spoon. This is followed by the piercing saw, files and finally polish. The outcome is a beautiful, inspired by nature brooch, which has been created with green principles and a love of original design.
Included with the brooch is the antique spoon from which it was cut. This is an interesting object for the wearer and is a fab talking piece. It also acts a lovely resting place for the brooch when not being worn.
