Recycled vintage teaspoon earrings.
The exact origins of these ancient ‘hand’ symbols are unknown. Throughout the ages however, we know it is universal sign of protection throughout many cultures and beliefs. The hand of Hamsa is also referred as the Hand of Fatima. In all situations and beliefs the hand symbol is always employed in jewellery as a protective amulate, offering strength and courage in its wearer.
The designs are carefully hand drawn onto the surface of the recycled vintage teaspoon spoon. They are then embellished with a traditional jewellers saw. Each set is not only completely unique and original but also totally green and ethical.
Handcrafted and completely recycled in Cambridge, UK. Complete with the finest sterling silver earwires and the actual donor vintage teaspoon from which they were recycled.

    Lovely earrings presented beautifully in presentation box along with the spoon they were cut from which is a nice touch. Very creative and ethical jewellery, my daughter will love it.

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
