I had been wanting an excuse to make these for ages and the opportunity arrived when a fab customer commissioned me to do so! Its a beautifully romantic set. Firstly i use a gorgeous pre 1920 silver shilling coin to create the lovely heart necklace. This is a lovely piece in its own right. If the chain option is chosen with it you can select a sweet wee charm to hang at the catch.

I then proceed to create these lovely personalised sixpence cufflinks are cut from some of the sterling silver 1880’s sixpences. The opposite sides are delightful little sterling silver threepence pieces. The face of one of the sixpences can be inscribed with meaningful initials or date. Now the romantic part, from the lovely heart necklace i cut out a jigsaw piece. This piece is then given to one of the sixpence cufflinks and ‘fused’ together. This join uses only the silver, they are one forever.

The cufflink set is asymetrical, allowing the wearer to enjoy both initials or date and the missing piece to a lovers heart. I’m sure the image and your imagination can better describe what is on offer than my limited vocabulary!

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen). The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
