A little more detail…

A wonderfully traditional looking wedding band made from 22ct Gold, with a special unique difference.  Not only is it individually handcrafted and sustainably created with a responsible eco-conscious mindset it is a bearer of a fantastic history only visible and known to the wearer.

These beautifully coins are just perfect to turn into beautiful high quality, original, sustainable and ethical weddings rings. During the terrible world wars some artisan soilders would take these precious coins and transform them into rings for loved ones and to remind them of loved ones back ‘at home’. The resourcefulness of these soilders is admirable and inspiring. This resourceful intent has now resurfaced in my work as a silversmith with green ethics looking to create original and unusual wearable pieces of art. Trench art to recycled art.

There is no ‘join’ in these rings which is another reason they are just perfect as wedding bands, they are an ‘unbroken circle’, quite lovely and symbolic.  They take quite a bit of time to create so please don’t order at the last minute as I will probably not be able to satisfy the deadline!

The approx widths are between 4 mm and 6 mm in proportion the the actual ring size. Larger sizes being wider and vice versa. However, if you would prefer your ring in a narrower band just let me know, its no problem.
