90th Birthday Shilling – 1934
1933 Recycled silver Shilling
The Shilling was a denomination of British money worth the equivalent of a twentieth of a pound or at the time twelve pence! It was made from silver from 1503 right up until 1947. This beautiful ‘out of circulation’ half crown coin provides the perfect size raw material to create a lovely intricate and wearable pendant. The coin design is carefully and meticulously followed with a traditional jewellers saw. Every single letter is cut around, left prominent and standing strong! Each one is completely unique and special and will last many generations as a family heirloom.
