Aeolus – God of wind

Aeolus – God of wind

“Quick-moving, nimble”

Aeolus God of wind necklace – handmade and recycled silver Shilling

Aeolus – God of wind necklace crafted from an old silver coin.  I have decided to hand cut each one of these lovely celebrations of Aeolus from only the finest 100+ year old antique sterling silver lucky shillings.

Aeolus – God of wind, keeper of the winds is the perfect amulet for all admirers of wind power.  The interpretation is one I have been looking for many years and eventually came to fruition!

Aelous is freehand drawn onto the silver shilling. Several holes are drilled and the sections are delicately cut away. The edges are filed and the details are carefully hand carved, smoothed and finally polished. The end result is a lovely, original, recycled pendant with a fantastic history.

You are welcome to request some personal, meaningful initials for the reverse.

The Aeolus – God of wind shilling is presented on either a fab sterling silver necklace with a handmade shepherds crook safety catch and accompanying wee star, moon or heart… or a simple but lovely adjustable braided cotton necklace cord.
