Recycled silver Florin
This beautiful new pendant is perfect for the music lover in your life, be that you or someone close! The design is a fab composition of music. As always, each and every necklace pendant is handmade and completely made from recycled raw materials. The raw material is a sterling silver florin coin circa 1890’s. The coins i use are unwanted by coin collectors due to wear, etc.
I start by choosing a lovely coin and gently flatten it into a nice workable surface area. The design is then hand drawn on to the surface of the coin. This basic guide / outline is then embellished and detailed with a traditional jewellers saw. cThe star is also handcut from an old copper farthing coin. You can go for the star or choose from a variety of other lovely adornments…
Each one is uniquely crafted for you and includes a fab sterling silver chain hand finished with a lovely silver ‘shepards crook’ saftey catch.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
