Hare coin necklace – handmade and repurposed old pound coin

Straight outta rabbit folklore this little fella was a messenger for Lord Frith and a kinda sweet foolish double agent dumb dumb. At one point in Watership Down (fav book of all time) he tried to organise a dodgy carrot garden honey trap which didn’t go to plan thanks to badass El-ahrairah (hero to any self respecting free thinking indy rabbit, i mean the guy not only stitched up out little Rainbow but also had another rabbit dressing up with green ears and a red tail – true lapine Jedi mind tricks)

Inspired by my love of hares and the book; Watership Down. Each coin requires a great deal of time and attention to transform it from an unused, valueless coin into a beautiful work of art.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen). The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
