Recycled silver Florin
The Lotus flower symbolizes faithfulness. The Lotus that is mentioned in Buddhist sutras has two meanings, one is the symbol for the achievement of enlightenment and the other points towards a real flower which is beyond our normal perception.
The influence of a lotus flower can open us up to beauty and light. This handcrafted and recycled lotus flower necklace can act as a reminder of the miracle of beauty, light and life. This reminder, communicated on an emotional level, is said to aid both spiritual and practical understanding of Tao, the world and our place in it.
The necklace is 100% unique, individual and handmade. It has been recycled from a sterling silver Georgian Florin coin. For added interest and prove of ethical and original origin the ‘off cut’ of the silver Florin is packed in with the necklace. A fab piece of historical silver. You are welcome to choose a Lotus flower cut from a silver shilling 23mm diameter (in the background of the image, sitting within the ‘off cut’ for display purposes) or a silver Florin 28mm diameter (main flower in the picture).
Size: Approx diameter 23mm or 38 mm respectively

    Fantastic piece

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
