Eye of Horus jewellery – handcrafted artisan recycled sterling silver.

These beautifully simple, stylish and magikal rings are not only handcrafted, unusual, completely unique but have also been transformed from recycled ‘out of circulation’ silver coins and fork tines. Each one is especially crafted to order and it is my pleasure, I love making them. The Eye of Horus was believed to have healing and protective power, and it was used as a protective amulet, and as a medical measuring device, using the mathematical proportions of the eye to determine the proportions of ingredients in medical preparations to prepare medications.

The design is finished with a lovely hammer textured and faceted sterling silver band.

The Eye of Horus

Eye of Horus jewellery – handcrafted artisan recycled sterling silver.

Each one is especially crafted to order and it is my pleasure, I love making them. The eye of Horus ring starts life as an old silver fork tine and a piece of silver Florin.  After a wee bit of fusing and meting I have a shape which can be formed in to a ring.  From here I polish and clean, preparing the surface for the Eye of Horus jewellery collection.  I then individually hand cut, carve and engrave the powerful symbol onto the ring.  It is a lengthy but rewarding process.  The design is finished with a lovely hammer textured and faceted sterling silver band.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
