The Tree of wizzards.
Rowan tree leaves necklace – handcrafted and recycled ethical jewellery made from silver Victorian Florins.
A beautiful tree whose slender trunk supports wonderful branches covered in glorious fingers of leaves. The Rowan tree Im lucky enough to have in my garden has a Iovely ‘voice’ as I hear it. The leaves just dance in the breeze and its sings a gorgeous song which has inspired many a piece thats for sure. Its known that a Rowan tree / witchwood / mountain Ash in your garden kicks the arse of spirits with bad intent, I assume that’s due to the branches making wavy handy sounds and vibrations and probably part of the reason they are used as specific wands. Last year I made some fruit leather using the berries mixed with apple and orange juice. It was a time consuming mess and the result was, okay(ish) but I will be trying again this year for sure. Some great info here re. the health and medical benefits of Rowan berries, and as the article states they are plentiful due to most people assuming they are poisonous. Rowan berries
The leaves I have created from a recycled silver coin are imbued with these connections and will make beautiful necklace and protection amulet. Each set is lovingly handcrafted to order and a delight to make. The leaves are available as just the leaves to go on your own special chain, or on a adjustable cotton neckcord (variety of colours), on one of my flourish chains with accompanying star, heart or moon? or as a special for a wee bit extra to cover time needed with lovely Rowan berries cut from the silver Florin and overlaid with copper for the red colour. Each tiny berry is hand engraved with the special magical five pointed star of which the berries are cherished and loved.
