A little more detail…

Recycled spoon
Another lovely Hairy Growler tree brooch, with a lovely little added element. Each one of these i create is carefully handcut from the ‘bowl’ of an old, discarded, unwanted, serving spoon. These are generally sourced from our local charity shops in Cambridge. The design is hand rough sketched on to the surface. This is then meticulously followed with a traditional jewellers saw.

The remaining spoon handle is also given the Hairy Growler treatment. A little detail, time and patients transforms the remnant. This is also included as a momento of the tree’s humble origins! A fab talking point, a little home for the brooch when not being worn and wonderful green, ethical and original gift.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
