Leather and silver bracelet for guys to wear on its own or for you girls to hang your Tree of Life memories from…
A stylish and beautifully simple bracelet made from beautiful, simple materials. Aniline dyed, vegetable tanned plaited leather available in forrest green or midnight black finished with sterling silver. The ‘shepherds crook’ safety catch and loop are also recycled silver and hand forged and hammer beaten in my usual manner.
When originally designing the bracelet I was solely concentrating on creating a bracelet which would allow you to wear your tree of life charms on a bracelet as well as a necklace. However, once progressing with the design from ‘drawing board’ to actual materials I realised that it look quite nice on my wrist and subsequently I haven’t taken to popping one on daily! It looks really quite nice on its own merits, which is great because i’m not a ‘girly’ guy! i’m a hairy grrr..owler. (I’m hairy, I grrrrr, and i love owls)
The charms are available separately and its really simple to add and remove them to suit. Slide them on and off the streamlined hoop end of the bracelet, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to the tree of life sculpture and charms.
*** It is important to remember with this and indeed any leather or non silver materials it is advisable to remove bracelet when bathing, showering, in contact with water, etc as this will eventually erode the material. Leather is a natural, organic material which will degrade quickly if in contact with water. It is super important to care for this bracelet, ideally you treat it with a leather conditioner which will certainly extend its lifespan.
It is worth noting that all organic materials decompose over time. So unlike the silver jewellery which will last many lifetimes these bracelets are to be enjoyed whilst they last.
Once the leather has run its course you are welcome to send the silver fittings back to me and I will replace the leather. The refurbishment of your old bracelet into a new one costs £20 (which inc p&p back to you)***

The bracelet is in itself wonderfully well made and beautiful, but it’s a bit tricky to put on by yourself, and the jewelleries may fall off from it, so be sure to be careful when putting it on and taking it off your arm.
