She is not one ring, but a gathering.

A small silver constellation drawn together for the hand — a moon gazing hare, a bright silver moon, and two stars, each carried on its own band, each holding its own place in the story. Worn together, the four rings become something more than adornment. They become a little night mythology. A private sky. A fragment of old wonder made solid in silver.

This is a stacker for those who are drawn to the quiet pull of symbols that never lose their power: the hare looking upward, the moon watching over her, the stars keeping their distance and their mystery.

It feels delicate. It feels wild. It feels ancient in spirit.

And yet, on the hand, it feels entirely alive.

A Constellation in Four Parts

This four ring stacker is built as a composition rather than a single object.

Each ring carries one part of the whole:
the moon gazing hare,
the silver moon,
and two separate stars.

Together, they create a sense of movement across the finger — not fixed, not rigid, but slightly shifting, like fragments of a night sky finding their own arrangement each time they are worn. There is a natural poetry in that. The piece does not sit like a statement ring imposed upon the hand. It settles more softly than that, as though it has arrived there by instinct.

This is one of the special pleasures of a stack like this: each band has its own quiet presence, but the full set gathers into a single atmosphere.

Not simply jewellery.
A mood.
A myth.
A small ritual of silver.

The Myth Thread

The moon gazing hare is one of those old and enduring images that seems to carry more meaning the longer you live with it.

She is alertness.
She is longing.
She is intuition.
She is the wild heart reaching toward light.

Across folklore and old storytelling, the hare has long stood apart from ordinary creatures. Quick, watchful, untamed, half-seen at dusk or dawn, she belongs to that threshold world Hairy Growler returns to again and again — the place where the natural world and the mythic world still touch.

Paired with the moon, her meaning deepens.

The moon is rhythm, silence, change, reflection.
The stars are guidance, distance, hope, and the sense that there is always something beyond what can be held.

Together, the symbols in this stacker form a complete emotional language. Not loud. Not fixed. But deeply felt.

Some will wear it as a piece about freedom.
Some as a charm for intuition.
Some for luck.
Some because the moon gazing hare simply feels like a part of who they are.

That is the beauty of symbolic jewellery at this level: it does not tell you what to think.
It gives you something true enough to live inside.

Material, Form, and Presence

Made in silver, this four ring stacker has a brightness and restraint that suits the subject perfectly.

Silver has always belonged naturally to moonlit imagery. It catches light without shouting for it. It holds shadow beautifully. It can feel soft one moment and alive the next. In a design like this, that matters. The moon must feel calm. The stars must feel light. The hare must still carry that quickness, that inner life, that suggestion she could move if you looked away for a second.

Because the set is made as four separate rings, there is also a beautiful sense of articulation to the piece. It moves with the hand. It shifts slightly. The arrangement never feels dead or over-controlled. That living quality gives the stack its charm.

This is where hand made work carries something mass-made jewellery never can: presence.

Not the cold perfection of repetition, but the more valuable kind of balance — the kind that comes from judgement, touch, and time.

The Hairy Growler Spirit

Hairy Growler jewellery has always lived in the meeting place between old silver, old stories, and the enduring force of the natural world.

This stacker belongs naturally within that world.

The moon gazing hare is one of the great Hairy Growler creatures: not decorative, not sentimental, but charged with folklore and feeling. She carries the spirit of the hedgerow, the field edge, the dusk path, the half-glimpsed movement beneath the moon. The stars and moon around her do not merely frame her. They complete her landscape.

This makes the stacker feel less like a set of rings and more like a scene distilled into silver.

A little nocturne for the hand.

For those who love woodland symbolism, lunar imagery, and jewellery that carries inward meaning, this piece has that rare quality of feeling immediately personal. Not because it is simple, but because it resonates before it explains itself.

Why It Feels Special

There are pieces that impress at first glance.
And there are pieces that deepen every time you wear them.

This is the second kind.

The pleasure of it is not only in the visual composition, but in the way it becomes part of the wearer’s own symbolic language. Four separate rings, each with its own role, gathering into one complete expression. It can be worn as a full story, or noticed in fragments throughout the day — a star here, the moon there, the hare always reaching upward.

It has tenderness in it.
But also freedom.
And quiet strength.

It feels like the sort of piece someone keeps for years, not because fashion told them to, but because it came to mean something they could not replace.

Time Horizon

This is the kind of piece that enters a life softly and stays there.

At first, it may be chosen for the imagery — the hare, the moon, the stars, the beauty of the set as it rests on the hand. But over time, that is rarely the full reason such a piece remains precious. It stays because it gathers meaning from the life worn around it. It becomes associated with instincts trusted, seasons passed through, evenings remembered, private hopes kept alive. Years from now, it will still hold that upward-looking hare beneath her silver moon, but it may also hold a chapter of the wearer’s own story — and that is when jewellery begins to cross into heirloom.

A moon.
Two stars.
A wild hare still looking upward.

Not simply a ring stacker, but a small silver night sky — gathered by hand, and made to be carried.

Size : The four individual bands stacked together are approx 10mm width and the Moon pops out the to an extra 4mm if worn as the top band.  If you wear the moon as the second band up from the hare the entire stack is 10mm.  If you wear moon as third band up from bottom the stack will be 12mm.  If that makes sense! ha ha!? oh dear.  Some times the more you explain the more confusing it sounds.  I promise you will love your ring(s) and you will find a perfect wearing / sharing combo.  Best Les
