Peace dove jewellery – handmade and recycled spoon brooch

This lovely, uplifting, symbolic little brooch has been hand cut from the ‘bowl’ of an vintage dessert spoon. As with most pieces i create, the design is hand sketched on to the surface. The rough outline drawing is meticulously follwed with an extra fine jewellers saw.

A few other simple, traditional tools is all that is needed to transform an unwanted, discarded, antique dessert spoon into a contemporary, desirable brooch.

You are welcome to request this brooch with or without the olive branch! The remaining spoon handle is also given the Hairy Growler treatment. A little detail, time and patients transforms the remnant. This is also included as a momento of the tree’s humble origins! A fab talking point, a little home for the brooch when not being worn and wonderful green, ethical and original gift.

    Perfect Christmas present

    I’m always on the lookout for something a bit different for presents for my wife; this fitted the bill perfectly. My daughter put me on to it and I was delighted from the moment I saw it. NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
