The Shield Rune
Shield Rune necklace – handmade and recycled from coins
Shield Rune charm coin necklace shapes and forms are perfect for carving into silver and stone, and are an intriguing part of Celtic and Northern European story. The Shield Runes look striking as singular pieces, but can also bound together as a collection depending on mood and purpose. These are definitely strong, protective charms / necklaces. Each piece is carefully and considerately handcrafted from a choice of sterling silver 150 year old Florin coins, old Victorian pennies or bronze 1930’s thrupney-bit.
The reverse of each rune charm clearly demonstrates the ethical origins of the raw materials used to create the rune. This compounds the power, will and intent of the charm, making the purpose clearer and more effectual. Download Silver Rune chart
