Recycled vintage spoon – Seahorse Love Earrings 

These are completely unique and original earrings. Each gorgeous silvery seahorse hangs free, perfectly swinging as if caught in the motion of the tides! Each and every pair is hand cut and carved from a pair of lovely (but very worn and uncollectible) 120 year old silver shillings.

Using a fine line marker pen, I drop quick seahorse outline sketches onto the surface of the flattened coins. I then meticulously carve away the design with a traditional hand chisels and cut details using a traditional jewellers saw. Once I have cut the details, I give the earrings an extremely bright polishing which really brings the coin to life.
