Recycled silver shilling
These gorgeous little pendants are created using old English silver coins which are no longer collectible due to vital details being slightly ‘rubbed’ etc. These slight defects mean that what is a lovely, old, pure silver coin, is classed as ‘scrap’ by collectors. I try and purchase these coins before they are scrapped for their basic silver value. Each coin is then transformed into a unique piece of jewellery which still holds visible signs of it’s origin.
A lovely, contemporary designed pendant with extra historical details and completely ethical origins. What more could you ask for ? These raw materials are meticulously hand pierced, filed and polished in order to produced a fantastic little one-off special pendant.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen). The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
