For me the ladybird is definitely one of the sweetest little insects to land on you, although when there is a whole bunch it does get kinda creepy. However, their loveliness has made them symbols of good luck in many cultures. The Turkish name for the ladybird is Uğur Böceği, literally meaning good luck bug.

I have made this ring from a pair of lovely sterling silver pre 1920 threepence coins and a silver fork tine / prong! Its feels lovely and looks very nice worn! Each ring is completely unique, individual and original, oh, and 100% ethical and recycled!

Size : Ladybird approx 17mm diameter

    I absolutely love it! It’s so different to anything you can purchase in big standard jewellery shops, and I love the fact that it’s made from otherwise useless coins.

This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
