A little more detail…
Snowflakes are a particular source of interest and inspiration. I guess they are to many, especially if you are making ‘one-off’, unique pieces of art. These beautifully unique little snowflake earrings are completely handcrafted and recycled from the ‘bowl’ section of an 100 year old discarded serving spoon. Each set includes six asymmetrical earrings, each one complete with sterling silver ear wires. You will receive earrings equally if not more beautiful than those pictured. They will be the same designs but obviously unique as i hand cut each snowflake. Five snowflakes and one star filled snowball… Also included with the set is the ‘donor’ spoon. Handmade and completely recycled in Cambridge, UK. Complete with the finest sterling silver earwires complete with actual spoon!
Snowflakes symbolize purity, new beginnings, and individuality, but can also represent loss, grief, and the ephemeral nature of life. Their unique, intricate designs can symbolize the beauty of individuality and the divine, while their fleeting existence can highlight the transient nature of beauty and life itself.
Their pristine white appearance, are often associated with purity, innocence, and new beginnings, especially in the context of winter and Christmas.
The fact that no two snowflakes are ever exactly alike makes them a powerful symbol of individuality and the beauty of unique characteristics. The short lifespan of a snowflake as it melts away can symbolize the fragility of life, the fleeting nature of beauty, and the inevitability of change.
Snowfall can also represent a sense of comfort and quietude. The covering of the landscape with snow can also represent a fresh start, a chance to begin anew, or a period of reflection and transformation.
Snowflakes, with their intricate designs, are a symbol of divine creation and the beauty of the natural world.
