This necklace handcrafted from 100% recycled / upcycled raw materials. But more interestingly it ‘can’ also act as a special silver token which will ‘probably’ earn you admittance to one of many secret woodland tea parties seemingly happening in the Autumn woodlands and forests around the country. Obviously I must provide a sort of disclaimer as this based on my own experience wearing said necklace whilst foraging and messing around in the woods in September. I won’t go into too much detail; the morning transitioned into the afternoon very smoothly and the colours of autumn appeared in high definition by 1pm earth time. After a little amount of time feeling queasy with my tummy feeling a bit like a student washing machine I began to feel enormously pleased with my surroundings, decidedly long arms and velvet lined mouth. Not long after I noticed the necklace glistening in the sun setting through the trees and shining upon it. At this pivotal moment I realised that I had.. Ooops! theres me going into to much detail and I started out stating i wouldn’t. Anyways, to take advantage of the secret purpose of this lovely necklace you simply have to take regular walks in local forests and woodlands, make sure its swing around your neck wildly and well, just look out for the parties and stuff. If you time it right you will be immediately welcomed and will soon be enjoying some wonderful treats and fabulous conversations with wonderous like minded woodland creatures, like a big warm cuddle.

A Sterling silver 1890’s sterling silver Victorian Florin coin has been transformed to create thia special piece. These coins are beautiful and imbued with history. Unfortunately the majority are relatively uncollectible due to major area of ‘wear’ due to a life of commerce!

Combined with a high scrap silver price means that most are destined to be melted down, the history dissapearing with it. Far better that lovely old coin be reborn as a lovely, special invitation necklace!

Obviously the ‘off-cut’ of the remaining silver coin is packed with the silver invitation for your interest and to keep its history, origin and story alive.
