Grass, green as venom, and earth silt-dark lie thick

Pentagram ring – handcrafted and recycled sterling silver

These beautifully simple, stylish and magikal rings are not only handcrafted, unusual, completely unique but have also been transformed from recycled ‘out of circulation’ silver coins and fork tines.  A Pentagram (penta meaning 5) encodes 1.618 (Phi) as well. If we measure the smaller half of one of the arms of the star, it will proportion out to .618 with the larger half-being. Human beings are constructed using the number 5. We have 5 senses, 5 fingers on each hand, 5 toes on each foot and 5 extensions from our torso. Phi and Five are intimately linked to the construction of the human being. A wonderful discovery within sacred geometry providing significant insight to all aspects of existence.

The hauntingly beautiful Wiccan tradition is an aesthetic well-known to Pagan England, and this ring is laid on the altar of such history. I hope to enhance the natural intrigue of paganism, as well as creating something new for someone looking for something a little different.

The design is finished with a lovely hammer textured and faceted sterling silver band. Each one is especially crafted to order. If you like this delicate ring, why not check out some cute black cats, or a witch curiosity with a dangling kitten charm!

    This was bought for me as a present. I had been looking for a ring with a Pentagram on it for some time, but had never found one that was quite right, until I saw this one. Most had been very “In your face” large rings, but this was so neat and beautiful, I fell in love with it straight away. I love the fact that it is hand crafted and recycles old coins and cutlery. Well, I thought the ring was beautiful when I saw it on the website, but when it arrived…Wow!! The craftsmanship is just amazing! It is such a pretty little ring and looks stunning on. I have had several comments on it and people have asked me where I got it, as it is so unusual. This was our first purchase from Hairy Growler, but certainly won’t be our last!

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
