A little more detail…
These two rabbits in love represent tender and gentle bond between two individuals, representing companionship and mutual affection as seen in some Renaissance art, they evoke gentle companionship, joy, and a harmonious union.
The pleasant, non-threatening nature of rabbits can also evoke feelings of joy, reassurance, and a sense of peaceful, loving connection. While their ancient connection to fertility and passion is strong, two rabbits in love can create a sweet, endearing image of deep affection, a harmonious relationship, and the promise of a joyful, abundant future together.
This beautiful little necklace has been adapted from recycled silver coins circa 1880’s. The central heart is cut from an Victorian shilling and can be hand engraved with two personal initials. The heart hanging from the ‘hairy growler’ shepards crook signature clasp is hand cut from a 1920’s copper penny. Each necklace is handcrafted and completely unique.
Handcrafted & Recycled in Cambridge, UK.
