Recycled spoon
Introducing Cheeky, Sleepy and wee. These cute little owl brooches are the perfect compliment to your (or someone you know and love) Autumn / Winter outfit. Each brooch is carefully hand cut using a simple, traditional jewllers saw.  The owls are cut from the ‘bowl’ section of old beautiful old vintage soup spoons. These spoons are typically unwanted and found in local charity shops, house clearance specialist outlets, etc. Thus they are a perfect material to recycled and reuse.  After a hour or two of enthusiatic and careful crafting the old spoons are transformed into lovely, wearable brooches.

Please feel free to specify the owl of your choice! The remaining spoon handle is also given the Hairy Growler treatment. A little detail, time and patients transforms the remnant. This is also included as a momento of the brooch’s humble origins! A fab talking point, a little home for the brooch when not being worn and wonderful green, ethical and original gift.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Extra small : approx 170 mm

Small size : approx 185 mm

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
