Recycled silver coin
If you are over-whelmed by the choice on the website or if you’ve simply left it too later to get a piece made in time for a special occasion these will be perfect for you.

You can simply choose the value you would like to spend and I will hand craft (and recycle) a sterling silver coin into a gift token for you. This is a lovely gift solution as the lucky person it is for has a present to open and wear! This can then be sent back to be redeemed against the piece they would truly desire. The recipient has a wonderful twelve months from date of purchase to carefully select the perfect piece of Hairy Growler wearable art jewellery.

They are offered with a little presentation ribbon or a lovely silver chain with the Hairy Growler handmade safety catch and star so it can be worn and enjoyed in the meantime. The heart tokens arrive complete with the original ‘off-cut’ donor coin, so the history and story of the new token live on.

The £30, £40, £50 and £75 tokens are hand cut from sterling silver 100 year old shillings. The token is approx 18 mm * 16 mm. The £100 tokens upwards are cut from 100 year old ‘two shilling’ silver Florins. These tokens are approx 20mm * 18 mm.

    Really nice to have a gift token that you can hold, really good idea as not just a piece of paper or email, its an actual gift to open but still leaves the choice to the lucky person who received one from you! My girlfriend loved it!

    It’s lovingly made and incredibly thoughtfully packaged so the person receiving it will feel special. not just a token gift! Would def. recommend as a gift esp. as all the jewellery on the website is so varied and all really lovely. Wording on FAQ about returning token is useful so printed that off – may be useful to include along with the cute little instruction cards sent with the token.

    Silver token

    Lovely item, came with the coin that it had been cut out of, and a hare shaped canvas gift bag. Will be visiting the Artisan market in Cambridge in the near future so that I can purchase one of the hare necklaces using the token. Have had quite a few comments when when wearing the token from friends who think it’s an excellent idea.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..

Extra small : approx 170 mm

Small size : approx 185 mm

Medium size : approx 195 mm

Large size : approx 210 mm (good size if you want a looser dangly medium fit)
