Another lovely, whimsical and romantic free spirited brooch handcut and recycled from the side of an old serving spoon. In the usual manner, the gorgeous figure is freehand drawn onto the spoon. As a result each and every one is special and unique. The sketch is then delicately followed with a traditional jewellers piercing saw.
Meticulous filing and polishing transform what was a ‘battered’ old bit of unwanted cutlery into a fab, wearable and contemporary brooch.

Included with the brooch is the dessert spoon from which it was cut. This is an interesting object for the wearer and is a fab talking piece. It also acts a lovely resting place for the brooch when not being worn. Handmade and recycled in Cambridge.
