Recycled Spoon Brooch
Each one of these lovely faeries is recycled from the ‘bowl’ of old, discarded and neglected vintage dessert spoon. Each wee faerie design is carefully hand drawn on to the spoon bowl and meticulously pierced with a delicate jewellers saw. Thus each one is completely individual, unique and completely ethical, green and recycled!

As with all Hairy Growler brooches they are fitted with locking brooch fittings on the reverse. Old unwanted, unloved spoons found in charity shop cutlery bins are given a new life as a beautiful magical mushroom collecting faeries.

The remaining spoon is also worked upon to turn it into a gorgeous object and talking point for the wearer. It also works nicely as a little nest/home for the brooch when it is not being worn!

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
