A woodland talisman.
oak leaf acorn ring Recycled silver
A lovely simple and rustic oak leaf ring which is handcrafted using traditional hand tools and techniques. They result is unusual, completely unique but have also been transformed from an 100 year old silver forks and coins.
The oak leaf design is freehand drawn onto the slightly flattened silver shilling. I then meticulously follow this guide sketch with a traditional hand engraver. The design is then ‘pierced’ out with a traditional jewellers hand saw. It is these tools which allow me a close connection with each piece and to ensure your ring will be completely original and special to wear. The design is finished with a lovely hammer textured and faceted silver band also made from 100% recycled silver.
The ring is presented with the ‘donor’ silver sixpence from which the leaf was hand cut. This is a lovely piece of silver which connects your ring to its previous wondrous history.
Size : The oak leaf is approx 5 mm wide and 10 mm long.

Lovely
I love this ring – I have it with the leaf cut from a half penny rather than in silver, and it makes me smile every time I look at my hand!

Stunning craftsmanship – simply unique.
Purchased oak leaf ring for daughter’s 18th birthday in Aug 18. Usual fantastic customer care with Les providing us with some advice during a visit to the stall. Wanted something very special & unique to mark this special occasion – & that’s what Les produced. It’s stunning, very special & will last a lifetime. Very very highly recommended.

I recently purchased an oak leaf ring to add to my growing collection of Hairy Growler jewellery. As always, it’s a beautifully crafted piece that will be treasured for years to come. The attention to detail, from the item itself to the careful wrapping and the swift delivery couldn’t be better. Thank you so much!
