Recycled silver coins
We currently have a lovely ‘piratesque’ canvas money bag full of very old (1800’s – 1900’s) sterling silver sixpence and threepence coins. These were a lucky purchase from a coin collector who was selling them due to them not being ‘mint’ examples. Since getting my hands on them I have been thinking about possible ways to creatively recycle them.
These lovely personalised sixpence cufflinks are cut from some of the sterling silver ‘one hundred year old’ sixpences. The opposite sides are delightful little sterling silver threepence pieces. The face of the sixpences can be inscribed with meaningful initials and/or dates.
The cufflink set above is asymetrical, allowing the wearer to enjoy both initials and date, perfect for a special occasion. You are welcome to select these or select just initials or indeed just dates!
