A little more detail…

Wolf brooch – handmade and recycled spoon jewellery.

Each one of these special brooches is handmade from an old unwanted vintage spoon. Using a marker pen a quick inspired sketch is dropped on to the surface of the spoon. I then meticulously carve away the design with a traditional hand engraving tool and cut details using a traditional jewellers saw. Once the details are cut the brooch is given an extremely bright polishing which really brings the untameable wolf spirit to life.

A wolf moving with purpose represents a relentless, predatory force. Its movement symbolizes an unavoidable destiny.
In Norse mythology, the wolf Sköll chases the sun and his brother Hati chases the moon. Their relentless pursuit is a purposeful, apocalyptic journey, and when they finally catch their prey, it signals the end of the world.

The wolf’s deliberate path can symbolize a spiritual journey guided by deep intuition. The wolf seems embody acute instincts and a connection to the wild. A wolf moving with purpose represents an individual who is trusting their inner voice and pursuing a path that aligns with their truest self.
