I handcraft the Moon magick silver Birch leaf symbol necklace using traditional hand tools and techniques.  Handmade from a recycled sterling silver Georgian Sixpence.

She is the first of the Tree symbols in the true 13 Month Moon calendar. Symbolising new beginnings, the start of a new cycle, ‘year’ or stage. Bringing the associated feelings of fertility, hope and promise. As the white goddess of the woods she is the first choice for a Beltane maypole or witches broom for sure. Her connection to the moon is something I’m always noticing when out in the woods or garden at night which I feel is the reason she brings in the first moon month. The monochrome silver moonlight surrounds her, she reflects the wonders and importance of the moon.

The symbols I have created from silver coins are imbued with these connections. This makes them beautiful necklaces and protection amulets. Each one of these coin pendants I create is different, unusual and unique. If you order one, in reality it will look equally as lovely!

I value my craft, therefore each piece is lovingly handcrafted to order and a delight to make. I make sure that the symbol is available as just the pendant to go on your own special chain, or on a adjustable cotton neck-cord (variety of colours), on one of my chains with accompanying star, heart or moon.

Recycled in Cambridge. 100 year old+ Sterling silver coin.

    This piece is very simple, striking and elegant. The sixpence is a lovely size to wear everyday and the design is placed so you can see the original ‘sixpence’ lettering. The tips of the triangle are accentuated so the design stands out within the original coin frame and the whole design is beautifully balanced within the coin. It is clearly made by expert hands with great care. The handmade bale finishes it perfectly and enables it to be worn on any chain or cord. Delighted.

NECKLACE INFORMATION

Many of the necklace / pendant designs are complete. These designs have a sterling silver chain attached to the pendant from both sides. This design is perfect for looking in a mirror to fasten the necklace. It also makes a fabulous feature of the handmade hook catch (and star if chosen).  The necklace length you choose includes the length of the actual pendant. Do not worry about the pendant dimensions we will take care of your order. Order the necklace length you would normally wear and the necklace you receive will sit in the perfect position..
